Try with ChatGPT← Back

Send paper mail from ChatGPT in two minutes.

Switch on developer mode and add the PaperAgent connector once. After that, sending a letter is just asking.

Needs ChatGPT Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise or Edu, and developer mode has to be switched on from a browser. Once the connector is added it works in the mobile apps too.

— you’ll paste this in step 2
  1. 01SETTINGS

    Switch on developer mode

In a browser, open ChatGPT, click your profile picture, choose Settings, then Connectors, then Advanced. Switch on Developer mode.

Settings → Connectors → Advanced → Developer mode.
  2. 02CONNECT

    Paste the PaperAgent address

Back in Connectors, choose Create. Name it anything, paste as the MCP server URL, and click Create.

Connectors → Create — the address goes in the MCP server URL field.
  3. 03INVOKE

    Just ask, then sign in

Ask in plain language. The first time ChatGPT calls a tool that needs an account it signs you in by email — a six-digit code, no password. Checking a price or an address needs no account at all.

    • Mail this cancellation letter to my gym.
    • Send my landlord a certified letter about the deposit.
    • Where is my letter now?
The first tool call — sign in by email, then the code.
  4. 04REVIEW + SEND

    Preview the PDF, say yes

ChatGPT shows the exact PDF we will print and the price. Say yes, pay in the Stripe checkout it hands you, and the letter is printed and mailed within one business day. Ask “where is it now?” any time and ChatGPT reports what USPS has scanned so far.

The PDF preview and the price — reply yes to send.

That’s the whole setup.

One connector, no app to install, and your first letter goes out within one business day.

The short version, without pictures, is at /connect/chatgpt. The tools, what each one costs you and what it refuses, are on the docs page.
