A person reads this address. Write with the letter id if you have one — it looks like ltr_… and every reply your assistant gave you carries it.

The things you cannot do yourself

Most of the product answers to your assistant: what a letter costs, whether an address is deliverable, where a letter has got to. These four do not, and this address is the whole of how they happen.

  • Stopping a letter you have paid for. Write before it enters the print run for its mail date and we will pull it. Your assistant has no lever for this on purpose — a tool that works for a few minutes and then refuses is a tool that gets offered at the wrong moment, and “I cancelled it” is the worst sentence to be wrong about here.
  • A refund we have not already made automatically. What refunds itself, and what does not, is on the refunds page.
  • Never being written to again. Anyone can ask, whether or not they are a customer. The request is permanent and applies across every account.
  • A copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. Handled by a person rather than a button that does not exist. The limits are on the privacy page.

Before you write

Two answers are quicker to look up than to ask for. A plain First-Class letter is never scanned at delivery, so if your letter shows an expected delivery window rather than a confirmation, that is the whole of what USPS knows — not a gap in our reporting. And a letter that has gone to USPS cannot be recalled by us or by anyone.

Prices are on the pricing page, the API is documented at /docs, and what we will not put in the mail is in the terms.

Who you are writing to

PaperAgent is a service operated as a sole proprietorship. For anything not about a letter — press, partnerships, or the API — [email protected] reaches the same desk.
