Can ChatGPT mail a letter?
Yes. With the PaperAgent plugin, ChatGPT can mail a real paper letter through the United States Postal Service. You say who it is for and what it should say; ChatGPT drafts it, you approve the preview and the total, and we print it in New York and mail it. It arrives as paper in an envelope, not as an email.
How ChatGPT mails a letter
- 01You describe the letter: who it goes to, their full address and what it should say. You can also paste text you already wrote.
- 02ChatGPT drafts it with PaperAgent, which checks both addresses — the recipient’s and your return address — against the USPS address database.
- 03You see a PDF preview of exactly what will be printed, and the total. Ask for changes until it is right.
- 04When you approve, ChatGPT gives you a payment link and you pay on Stripe’s page. Nothing prints until the payment completes.
- 05We print it in New York and hand it to USPS within one business day.

What it won’t do
- It does not send email, fax or text messages. The only thing that reaches the recipient is paper in an envelope.
- It does not mail outside the United States. Both addresses must be in the US.
- It does not do bulk mail. Each letter goes to one recipient; there is no mailing list or mail merge.
- It does not mail a file you upload. The letter is the text ChatGPT drafts or you paste, up to 6 printed pages in black and white.
- It cannot call a letter back once it is printed.

Does ChatGPT mail the letter without asking me?
No. ChatGPT shows you the PDF preview and the exact total first, and the letter is printed only after you pay on the Stripe payment link. You can ask for changes before then.
